Meet Christine

Are you tired of feeling disconnected from yourself? Do you sense you've made yourself smaller and smaller over the years? Do you miss that sparkle you once had? Maybe you’ve gotten used to just hanging on, but you're exhausted and ready to try something different.

I provide a compassionate and warm presence with approaches that connect past and present for deep healing and resilience. I'm passionate about working in LGBTQIA+ communities, particularly in the areas of perinatal mental health, pregnancy loss and grief, and birth trauma, navigating early parenting years, divorce and other life transitions. I also have a passion for helping people heal from emotionally immature or abusive parents; these issues tend to come up during times of loss and transition.

Divorce and separation can bring up complex emotions of grief, loss, anxiety, and depression, and re-open old wounds of self-worth and loveability. You want someone who can empathize with the complex systems and relationships that you're navigating. You'll have time to regain your voice, create boundaries, take up space you need to heal, process relationship wounds, and build hope for a new future.

Healing from childhood abuse or neglect from emotionally unavailable or narcissistic parents takes time and tender care. I use narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems, somatic work, mindfulness, arts integration, and attachment therapy. We work at a pace that is right for you.

You may also find yourself yearning for a support system if you or your partner is transgender or genderfluid. You deserve a respectful, understanding, and supportive listener who empathizes with your experience and role. You don't need to go through the process alone, especially if you're not ready to share with friends or family.

People in LGBTQIA+ communities and other marginalized groups are experiencing tremendous fear, anxiety, and growing concern while trying to operate in a fascist system. In our work together, you'll have space to vent, process your emotions and lived experience, and build coping tools and strategies to stay afloat when the sunshine seems so far away.

No matter what brings you here, I'm committed to supporting you, helping you find therapeutic tools that fit your unique self, and working collaboratively.
