"Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It's a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity." - Pema Chodron

It’s time to rediscover connection in your relationships

You remember a time when your relationship was filled with connection and joy, but those days feel like a distant memory amidst the chaos of parenthood and daily stresses. Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that?

You’ve come to the right place

I’m Kaya Colin, and I help couples, polycules, and families just like you: ones that have it within them to reconnect and thrive together, but just need the support to get there.

I help my clients find confidence, happiness, and fulfillment by equipping them with the tools they need to better understand themselves and one another.

Many of today’s solutions for relationship therapy can feel surface-level and ineffective, leading many to feel like they’re not making real progress. I know that your circumstances are unique, so every step we take is tailored to you, always with an end goal in mind.

First, we examine the relational dynamics that are causing the problems you’re experiencing. Then, we work on the communication skills and behavior changes that will be most effective for you. Through our work together, you’ll be equipped with the skills and confidence you need to thrive in your relationships.

I am dedicated to helping people rediscover connection, peace, and security in their relationships.

My training in perinatal mental health, Brainspotting, and Relational Life Therapy (RLT) means I have the expertise you need and deserve when healing your relationships. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be part of a relationship or family struggling with disconnection, right?

I get it because I’ve lived it myself as a parent, partner and a member of the LGBTQ+ community. I know that sometimes you just want to quit. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
